Abrasive grains embedded in PU bonding systems can achieve surface roughness values of ≤ Ra 0.1 μm. We process grain sizes up to 1500 mesh. Given the variety of materials used (e.g., soft to hardened steels, ceramics, or composites), specifying fine grinding and polishing tools is crucial for surface finish, productivity, and tool longevity. Our PU bonding systems can be manufactured with varying degrees of hardness and tailored to specific applications.

Meanwhile, our PU-bonded SiC polishing wheels can go as fine as 1500 mesh. Silicon carbide is a versatile abrasive material with a wide range of applications. SiC grinding wheels are suitable for high-alloy steels, cast iron, aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, mineral materials (such as ceramics and granite), as well as carbide and ultra-hard, wear-resistant coatings.
